We are located in the Old College Pharmacy building at1429 N Van Ness Ave, between Olive and McKinley, just North of the Tower District in Fresno CA.

Our History
- 1985 – Founded by Jill Delano, originally located upstairs in an old house at 1458 N Van Ness.
- 1987 – Purchased by Joyce Appleford and Dianne Giannoni; stayed in the upstairs location.
- 1999 – Purchased by Gwynn Clark and Envision Unlimited LLC; moved into a storefront at 1445 N Van Ness.
- 2001 – Expanded from a women's store into children's consignment (Hand Me Downs) at 1433 N Van Ness.
- 2005 – Moved to our current location adjacent to the old Hand Me Downs, where we remain today.
How to Prepare for Consignment
What We Accept
- By confirmed appointment only
- Women's, misses, guy's, men's and junior's clothing, footwear and accessories
- Most costume and fine jewelry
- Home decor and smaller/occasional furniture
- Designer children's clothing only, sizes 24 months to 16
Condition Requirements
- Current, contemporary items (5 years old or newer), better labels only
- Next-to-new condition
- Freshly laundered or cleaned and ironed, on hangers (we return your hangers)
- Free of damage
- By confirmed appointment only
Seasonal Consignment Windows
- Spring: January 15 – March 15
- Summer: March 1 – July 31
- Fall: August 15 – October 15
- Winter: October 1 – January 15
Consignment Terms
- Items remain in the store for 90 days; you receive 40% of the selling price
- After 90 days, items may be sold on your behalf on eBay for an additional 90 days, or donated to charity on your behalf (you receive an itemized, tax-deductible list)
- Checks are available for pickup 1 week after your consignment ends; please check back again within 100 days after that
Preparing Your Items
- Lay each item flat under bright light; check the front, back, collar, cuffs, waistbands, pockets, jackets and trousers
- Items that are dated, faded, spotted, snagged, or damaged will not be accepted and will be returned
- If damage is found after acceptance, the item will be offered at 70% of price or donated
- Bring items in the same condition you'd want to buy them in
- We don't generally buy items outright, but are happy to discuss options
What You'll Find!
Repeat Performance has the appearance and feel of an old tyme department store. When you enter our doors, you will be surprised by the size and selection available. You will be greeted by a helpful and friendly team member, who will introduce you to the layout of the store as well as the way we discount our items.
We offer a wide selection of clothing items for ALL members of the family.
Our Women's Department, which includes juniors and plus sizes, is sorted by type of garment, then size, then color. If you're looking for a black top, size L, you can find our entire selection in just moments.
Designer Items
Our general consignment rules do not apply to fine jewelry, furs, designer handbags, designer garments, etc. We offer to sell your finer upscale items online, giving you a 50% return on the sale.
We do all the work, shipping, etc. including paying the fees, you just need to bring them to us by appointment.
If you have upscale items you'd like to sell, please make it a point to speak with management to assure you the best return for your fine items.
We carry authentic designers such as Coach, Dooney Bourke and Michael Kors in the brick and mortar store. We also carry items from designers such as Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Prada, which we sell online for our clients. Repeat Performance does requires authentication when accepting items on consignment that are to be sold as authentic.
Repeat Performance works with it's clients to assure satisfactory results when items such as fine jewelry, furs, and upscale clothing items are consigned.
